ABIGAIL AND THE KINGDOM OF FAIRS Review by DoubleGames
Abigail and the Kingdom of Fairs is a new time management game from NevoSoft that dwells upon a young heroine which finds a magical book. This book opens a portal to a wonderful parallel world… Honestly, the story sounds like the ordinary storyline of a hidden object installment, but in fact, this is the plot for the new building simulation.
As for the gameplay Abigail and the Kingdom of Fairs looks like a basic building simulation, set in an awesome and vivid world. Your prime object is to build three different types of buildings – shops, attractions and other important structures for living. The game consists of five fantastic locations differ much in settings and the types of goals. Thanks to various game locations, the core gameplay is not so boring and frustrating.
The level of difficulty in this time management adventure is rather well-thought-out. Good balance of hard and easy levels makes Abigail and the Kingdom of Fairs always intriguing and captivating. The atmosphere and environment of this installment fit the theme ideally except for the slightly old-fashioned visuals there. Sadly, the artwork of this title creates few issues there. Sometimes it is practically impossible to get a good overview of the background. So it is hard to realize what sort of building this is or what upgrade you are given. Of course, all these bugs are not extremely crucial but still can become irritating with time.
All in all, the game is worth our careful playing and can definitely amuse most fans of building simulations. Though twists and spins are not numerous there, and the design has some annoyances, the game is still able to provide us with a good portion of challenge. If you have nothing against colorful fairy-tales, welcome to Abigail and the Kingdom of Fairs!
