ALLORA AND THE BROKEN PORTAL Review by DoubleGames
The premise of the new hidden object game Allora and The Broken Portal is pretty familiar to most of us – traveling to the faraway fairy land, collecting the necessary items and saving the wizard. But we are not going to wrinkle our nose because of this fact. The staff at Azart Casual Games studio managed to wrap a usual gameplay in stunning graphics.
Allora and the Broken Portal is one of those auspicious games that blend genres together more gradually than most hidden object adventure hybrids, and the resulting mixture of gameplay features liberate you from heats of sticking mini-games or too-difficult lists of hidden items. Gorgeously-crafted fantasy world arrests your attention till the end never making you yawning or sleeping. After several hours of constant playing we can often feel an eye-ache but this artwork is so gentle that you will want to gaze at these lovely illustrations more and more enjoying their high-quality. The well-made animations, the well-presented objects, it all has a very professional look to it, and even the play and plot are intriguing, the graphics outrival the rest of the title.
Thankfully, Allora and the Broken Portal involves more than set of bright and vivid pictures. The game combines good adventure and hidden object elements into a compelling experience. Rather than struggle with ordinary shop list of items you are allowed to use items at any time, leave hidden object puzzle unsolved, and often play this game the way you want to. Very unusual trick for pretty linear gameplay, isn’t it? Although some locations can repeated, the items are always different.
So, if you are longing for a good adventure game, this title offers you a fine hybrid gameplay that will amaze you with its dynamic and captivating character. You won’t regret if you give it a try!
