AMULET OF TIME: SHADOW OF LA ROCHELLE Review by DoubleGames
It is an open secret that Medieval France was a center of mystery, treachery and palace intrigues. If you want to have a firsthand knowledge of this fact, play a new Hidden Object game from BigFishGames entitled Amulet of Time: Shadow of la Rochelle.
Amulet of Time: Shadow of la Rochelle is an all-new mystical thriller, dwelling on the unhappy fate of the beautiful Diane de Poitiers, the mistress of French King, Henry II. What secrets do the rooms of old palace cover? Can you you distinguish friend from foe? These and many other intricate questions must be answered by you. If you are a beginner, who just makes his first steps in the world of computer game, you will definitely like this installment. But those who have already cut their teeth on this sort of titles, will appreciate its captivating astounding gameplay.
Noteworthy, Amulet of Time: Shadow of la Rochelle plot is written by professional screenwriters. There are no tedious dialogues or annoying cutscenes, you don’t want to push “Skip” button. As for the gameplay, it is perfectly done, providing us with a lot of challenging puzzles. Yes, the game is full of Hidden Object scenes, but there is a massive storyline, goals to complete in each chapter, and some unique mini-games. The scenes are nicely done (sometimes a bit still blurry), but it would be fine to have some interactive items.
The artwork is highly detailed but lacks in interactivity. Anyway, the designers managed to restore the historical period for 16th century France and create an individual atmosphere of the game.
Mysterious plot, many perplexing levels, beautiful graphics and stirring music are just part of the surprising that Amulet of Time: Shadow of la Rochelle will show you. Have fun!
