For those who haven’t met Avernum series before, they would better start with the first chapter. In the meantime, the fans will contemplate the sixth game remake by Spiderweb Software. You will see the same rough sceneries, no animation, and poor characters and, of course, the title repeated over again. Surely, the truly lovers of this military strategy will be glad to give it many hours of their free time.

Nevertheless, Avernum 6 can really boast its challenging combats and loot system, all of which provide us with the great stimulus to play. Do not forget to experiment with different combinations of your game skills and abilities! Experimenting with these points, you will be successful in character progression and bit all clever enemies. The game has enough gimmicks to compete with brother titles. Still, the sameness of all these editions really disappointed us. Will the negative feelings fade as you get into the storyline? Unfortunately, they won’t. If you swing of the game more, the other shortcomings will appear there immediately. Alas!
