Fans of HOG games were waiting impatiently a release of long-expected game Brunhilda and the Dark Crystal during two years. At last you have a chance to play it and find out whether it costs our expectations or not. Let us see.
The storyline tells us about Brunhilda, a young girl who was taught by her strange and very eccentric aunt a bit of magic. One day her aunt disappears under very strange circumstances and Brunhilda decides to set out in search of her aunt to the Realm of Magic accompanied by a funny demon.
The gameplay is good enough. You travel to different locations and look for hidden items. You always meet the locals on your way who ask you for help. It seems everybody here have some kind of problem and only you are able to help them. The personages are very cute, especially a grumpy demon who will undoubtedly become one of your favourite heroes.
There is only two things that may disappoint some gamers: the endless backtracking and microscopic items to find. Anyway, the gorgeous graphics and very fascinating storyline can hardly let these two small disadvantages mar the effect of this great game.
The voice acting is great and in contract to other games doesn’t irritate you. Dialogues may seem too long to some gamers but you can always just skip them.
Brunhilda and the Dark Crystal is a lovely hidden object game with a wonderful graphics, very cute personages and absorbing gameplay. Be sure this game won’t disappoint you!
