Carribean Stud Poker

Caribean Stud Poker, also called Spice Island Poker, definitely has a flavorful kick. Instead of playing against other players, as is the case in traditional poker, players complete one-on-one with the dealer. The play is short and quick, quite similar to Blackjack. But rather than receiving two cards, the player receives a five-card hand. If the player thinks his/her hand will beat the dealer’s, then they place a wager and reveal their hand for a Showdown. If the dealer’s hand does not qualify with at least an Ace/King combo, the hands are not compared and the player automatically wins the wager at the corresponding payout odds. However, if the dealer’s hand does qualify, then it is revealed for a Showdown. Whoever has the highest ranked five-card poker hand wins the game.
