CHRISTMAS TALES: FELLINA'S JOURNEY Review by DoubleGames
As you can see Christmas game offering is usually very poor. But why? Probably the majority of developers do not see there any sense to waste much energy on Christmas-themed games which of course won’t be sold much after the season. As a result this strategy deprives us a lot of fun and pleasure. Maybe Brabl games, the developer of the new game Christmas Tales: Fellina’s Journey, will change our mind.
As soon as you step into the game all your hopes on tremendous plot will break into pieces. The story about sinister Elf who is jealous of Santa’s and has kidnapped him sounds rather childish if not say silly. But not all good Hidden Object games can boast of massive plot. So, we are able to turn our blind eye to this flaw because most of these titles have challenging gameplay. Unfortunately, this point of Christmas Tales: Fellina’s Journey is also a weak one.
It is hard to define the audience of this game because the gameplay is fairly easy for elder players but at the same time practically unacceptable for kids. Repetitive hidden object scenes and senseless hint system cannot make us enjoy this installment.
However, the graphics are quite good populated with lots of Christmas items. Snowy and festive backgrounds are presented very-well thought, the whole game produce no impression at all. The biggest and the only one advantage of this game is its ideal fitting for the season. Nevertheless, a good choice of illustrations cannot save the day!
It’s very pity that Christmas Tales: Fellina’s Journey with its rather promising title isn’t able to offer us nothing but a huge disappointment.
