COMMITTED: MYSTERY AT SHADY PINES Review by DoubleGames
Committed: Mystery at Shady Pines is another Hidden Object title by Fugazo that has you playing as a forgetful person.
Finding yourself strapped to the bed with no idea of how you got there, or even who you are, is a common situations for the majority players. Even though this is a story that has been tried again and again, Committed: Mystery at Shady Pines still manages to find an original way of presentation. There are tons of challenging mini-games and clever puzzles to solve and most of them make sense. Hidden Object scenes are mainly uncluttered but grainy enough, puzzles can be devilish and the SG offers no help with them.
The greatest achievement of this game is the map. It will always let you know what rooms have hidden object puzzles as well as areas you need to explore. Unfortunately, this map seems to be flawed a little bit. Some hotspots are not shown on the map, therefore you can be disoriented. It makes you wander around a lot and try to find what you have missed.
Fortunately, the game is well-voiced making you really enjoy the voice-acting. The main character truly seems bewildered by what has happened and why he has no recollection of how he got here. The music background adds much on sombre, rather depressed game atmosphere and don’t get too repetitive. The graphics are really tremendous that are always nice to watch at.
Looking for a good Hidden Object game with good portion of challenge and brilliant artwork? If so, we strongly recommend you to try Committed: Mystery at Shady Pines as it a worthy point-and-click game. Since Halloween is just around the corner this game would be perfect to play.
