CSI as a television drama that is very popular and Ubisoft Entertainment company presents you The CSI: NY game - a point-and-click adventure. You will get a chance to investigate four cases, and each episode of the game starts in at a new crime scene.
You have to visit different locations, and some of the items in each room become puzzles to solve. These are all mostly straightforward and simple: a lot of matching and logic puzzles. The other puzzles occur in the morgue and at the lab. The gameplay is nice, and here is a hint button that you can use, although once you use it, it has to charge up again before you can get another hint.
Like all of the CSI games, CSI New York, is a linear simulation requiring you to follow procedures in a specified order, using a specified format, with specified tools. There is no room for improvisation or personal expression. We would like to have more freedom of choice. And what a pity, the game has 2D graphics, in general the backgrounds are realistic, but the characters are static. The true detective admirers and the CSI fans will surely appreciate the game.
