Curse of the Ghost Ship

Ghost ship stories were always catching that’s why we decided to play this game at once. But Curse of the Ghost Ship has us going nut right from the start. There are no available options like custom cursor, for example. Everything what we have is just an ordinary shop list of hidden items. The storyline is not gripping but literally uninteresting. These hidden object scenes are very and very easy and search lists is criminal short. The hint button isn’t very helpful at all. It highlights the active areas regardless if you have the necessary object for that area.

The mini-games have no instructions, no challenge and no skip option. Most of these games are practically impossible to figure out without instructions, and so you have nothing to do but click at random. Actually, “rule of thumb” is the main principle of Curse of the Ghost Ship. While the plot is plain there, the music is still fine. Locked doors, broken wheels, and various other things scattered over the scenes are pretty fitting for a cryptic and dirty ghost ship. But the graphics is so grainy and blurry that it is hard to watch and play it 10 minutes. There are a lot of games out there that have “moody” atmosphere without the screen being so dark and without making you blind. Ugh!
