The Last Adagio happens to be the first installment in Danse Macabre series and it tells us a story about the old curse that strikes the theater. As you play you have to break that curse and rescue your sister trapped somewhere in the theater together with other ghosts. Even though this storyline is not totally innovative, it keeps you entertained and makes wonder how the story actually ends. Puzzles and mini-games are not very hard and creative, they are rather simple just like all other tasks you get to do. On the contrary, hidden object scenes are various, nice and offer you an option to switch from the regular mode to the bubble shooter one.

Graphics in this installment are very quality, just like in any other game from this developer. Artwork is very beautiful and detailed, the choice of colors is pleasant – they are bright and light, despite the fact that the game’s atmosphere literally asks for much darker colors. All in all this game is a pleasure to look at and the soundtrack fits it perfectly. We just wish it was more epic and even more orchestral for this ballerina themed game. The last but not the least – the voice overs, that are done in the most professional way.
