There is a lot of moving around from scene to scene and returning to other places for the common searching an inventory tool and going back to clear up where you can use it. Each hidden object scene has lots of interactive aspects. The great challenge is that there is no hint or note of what or where you need to spot in order to complete the task. Still, you are able to guess how to perform the task.

Visually, Dark Dimensions: City of Fog is outstanding clear and crisp. However, there are few scenes diminished by colors and light, which are hard to examine. The size of the hidden objects varies from very large to very small. That is why sometimes you will be frustrated by the task to find very tiny object. Fortunately, the hint system reloads quickly, but the mini-game skip button takes some time. The voice acting is nicely done, but there is still a lot of voices to enjoy it. The music background is creepy enough to support gloomy atmosphere of the game. Thanks to good production values there are several really hair-raising moments making you about jumped out of your skin.
