After series of ill-starred game projects such as Time Riddles: The Mansion, Big Fish Games has righted himself presenting us its all-new game titled Dark Parables: Curse of Briar Rose Collector’s Edition. To be on the save side, the development team decides not to show off and follows a classical gameplay formula.

In fact it is a safe move to use elements of well-known fairy-tale plot in some hidden object adventure game. So, this time around you are to help the detective investigate a violent briar expansion in Scotland, and learn the true story of the fame Sleeping Beauty. Besides intriguing storyline the developers did their best to delight players with fascinating illustrations. The graphics are really gorgeous, well-drawn and create the effect of presence. It seems you are just there, strolling through that mysterious park, climbing that ancient stairs. Dark Parables: Curse of Briar Rose Collector’s Edition is as dark as it should be a good hidden object game. 

By the way the sense of proportion is the main feature of this adventure title: it is moderately gloomy, challenging and intriguing. Wonderful scenes and interesting twists highlight the game against the background of similar titles. The game is relaxing as there is no timer, and the only penalty if you want to skip a mini-game is having your hint deactivated for several minutes.   

Dark Parables: Curse of Briar Rose Collector’s Edition shows that Big Fish Games was very conscientious to evade the defects we all complain about frequently: monotonous, repetitive mini-games. These puzzles will amaze you with no sheer drudgery or wearisome tasks. All we should say is that we really deserved this title after all the annoying ones that have been out there lately.
