Delicious: Emily’s Taste of Fame is the newest installment in the Delicious series created by Gamehouse. It takes you on a journey with Emily and her friend as they make their way to Emily’s new cooking show when her car breaks down.

To start with, it is a time management game controlled merely with the mouse. You’d better regulate your mouse as you’ll need fast clicking skills to get through this latest chapter in Emily’s life. The gameplay involves usual acts such as cooking and serving capricious customers. But this time the developers were completely creative and introduced some improvements. So the tasks became more varied in style, some departing completely away from time management and straight into the genre of hidden object.

It is nice to point out that hints and tutorials can be skipped, and the difficulty is changed at any time, even during the gameplay. Instead of taking place solely in restaurants, this title allows Emily to also work in shops, and even on a farm. While previous titles may have felt repetitive due to the strict restaurant environment. 

The graphics and animation style we find rather simple but charming. The music is far from being something unique though not irritating for ear. Only one fact may disappoint hardcore fans that “Emily’s Diary”, allowed the player to play through various days with various special challenges, is not available anymore.

Notwithstanding, it is a wonderful game for players of all ages. You will like this excellent balance between old and some innovative features.
