EDEN'S QUEST: THE HUNT FOR AKUA Review by DoubleGames
It is hard to characterize a new game Eden’s Quest: the Hunt for Akua developed by IGS because it is not really adventure, definitely not hidden object. Well, maybe puzzle? Anyway, it is a lager file game that has you wandering the world in search of great treasure. The plot focuses on an illustrious archeologist named Eden, who becomes an owner of unique tips that lead her on a quest for the ancient treasure of Akua.
Eden’s Quest: the Hunt for Akua is chiefly a collection of a great number of puzzles from all kind of genres, predominately the brain teaser types. As you explore the locations for different clues, you will have to solve these mini-games that range wildly in style, complexity, and difficulty. So, if you are in the mood for challenging puzzles or mini-games, this title will delight you for sure.
In spite of Eden’s Quest: the Hunt for Akua is notable for its tremendous portion of puzzles, it is overloaded with dialogues. We found ourselves clicking through dialogue as fast as we could just to get to the next set of puzzles. Hard luck, the title does allow you to click through it, so you won’t be forced to sit there forever. In our humble opinion, this issue is top overcrowded with information and instructions that make the gameplay boring and even frustrating sometimes.
We were sincerely surprised by some spins on the storyline, but then we realized it was occurred because the characters were almost flatter. They are stiff and devoid of basic human manners. However, a good portion of logical puzzles can help awaken your mind and kill one boring evening.
