Elixir of Immortality

Vogat Interactive, the developers of this installment, put there a quite intriguing storyline, however the plot does a middling job of sustaining the tension. No wonder, as casual games are seldom remarkable for story or character sketches. This time around, it does not matter much, since you will be grabbed with various puzzles the game will offer you to crack, from collecting hidden items to clearing up how to break locks. And the best part of Elixir of Immortality is its miscellaneous mini-games that are fillers for short breaks between hidden object scenes keeping gameplay from becoming repetitive.

The skeptic players will find some items too tiny or poorly blended with the background. Puzzles might be too easy for some experienced players, but at least they do not insult their intelligence nor gaming skills, manages to maintain their interest. Surely, there is a necessary amount of going back and forth, but that is not a chore at all. Thanks to clear and well-colored graphics, the transition between the locations is absolutely pleasant. In Elixir of Immortality, there is no skip button on the cutscenes, but they are not so long and won’t irritate you much. Sound effects seem to convey the mood of this game. Especially the spooky music background at the beginning creates the atmosphere of mysterious and dives players into game immediately. We believe that it is worth its price.
