The Evil Mists 2 is a sequal published by Intenium company and developed by BigFishGames.
Playing as young elf-awakener, your task is to arouse the elves by placing Tetris-like puzzle pieces on the board, creating same-colored paths to collect the petals where the elves sleep.
The plot of the game is presented in a storybook, and each level is like its page. We feel the story is unnecessary, cause the game doesn’t need it.
The graphics is colorful and bright, the backgrounds are beautiful. Music is rather nice too, besides the score is musical.
The gameplay is simple featured a funny inlay puzzle mechanic. There are 2 game modes – Story and Time, and 120 nice levels. But still we would like to have some instructions to learn the task, though there is a tutorial, but Help option is lacking. While the mechanic is simple enough, this game would be better with more instructions. And the timed cloverleaf mini-game really just plops you in the middle of it and lets you fend for yourself. In general, The Evil Mists 2 has been improved since the predecessor, but still the levels seem to be too repetitive.
