FICTION FIXERS: ADVENTURES IN WONDERLAND Review by DoubleGames
Fiction Fixers: Adventure in Wonderland is a decent addition to one’s hidden object library. Fugazo, the developers of this title, offers a really captivating adventure based on world-famous classical story. However, you cannot help but note few alterations that are look quiet fresh and even funny.
As you begin this hidden object game, get ready to do, solve and crack usual tasks for this genre. The artwork for the hidden object scenes is great, thought the items themselves look rather vague. After spending several minutes in vain trying to find one or another object, you will finally have to use a hint. The puzzles of Fiction Fixers: Adventures in Wonderland are numerous but not various or extraordinary enough to make us say, “This game is the best, for sure”.
Moreover, most mini-games that break up the hidden object levels are often annoying and even can make you nerves. For example, you have to click fast to stop heavy things from falling down or to play cricket. This kind of task looks oddly there, if not say ridiculously. Lots of backtracking to previous scenes would be there pretty irritating, if the were no map. Luckily, the game’s map is highly informative, not only showing you where you are at that moment, but letting you see all the places that currently have items to search, active puzzles or mini-games. So, you will be always well-informed where you have more things to accomplish.
Unfortunately, Fiction Fixers: Adventures in Wonderland is unpardonably short, we finished it just under three hours. Still, there are few extra tasks, which have no challenge at all but made for nice filler. Surely, it is not a bad game, but you can find more polished game today.
