FINAL CUT: DEATH ON THE SILVER SCREEN COLLECTOR'S EDITION REVIEW BY DOUBLEGAMES

Final Cut: Death on the Silver Screen is not only a new Hidden Object game from Big Fish Games but rather a good chance for an avid player to show off his best sleuthing skills after all... Read more

Firstly, Final Cut: Death on the Silver Screen can boast an intriguing storyline about mysterious death and bizarre disappearance of people and, of course, a lot of family secrets. Fortunately, the game’s plot goes down an entirely different and unexpected way, and it captures player’s imagination immediately.

With a pretty standard Hidden Object gameplay, Final Cut: Death on the Silver Screen is still rather good. It offers you two modes of play, regular and expert. Both of these modes works perfectly without any glitches. The hidden object scenes aren’t very hard but not stupidly simply either. Whether you an experienced player or a newcomer, the hidden object scenes take some time to find each object on the list with careful exploration. The puzzles and mini-games are also rather clever, but don’t require rocket science ingenuity either, and the instructions for each puzzle are crystal and detailed.

As for the graphics, they are really wonderful! In Final Cut: Death on the Silver Screen you can see how the scenes come to life as you travel through all these numerous rooms of this odd house. However, the animations of the people are sometimes too annoying. The music background, aside from the voice-overs, is good. Properly spooky and entrancing. Nothing obtrusive or out of place to spoil the game atmosphere. The creaking doors and soft piano tunes involve you deeper into the game plot.

All in all, Final Cut: Death on the Silver Screen is a fine hidden object experience where you can have a lot of fun!
