Gardenscapes: Mansion Makeover

Gardenscapes: Mansion Makeover is like an old friend, the sight of whose you’ve lost for a while, who hasn’t changed very much but still has some news for you. Now you are owned the garden which has become popular and plenty of people wants to visit this wonderful place. Since you’ve spent too much time out of this garden, you should polish its background again before visitors come.

While the home’s scenes have been packed with all new items to find, the same repetition has been still carried over from the first installment. There are the usual gold coins to collect in each scene to increase your income. The hint system works the same well – find question marks in scenes, which will show you the hidden item immediately. In Gardenscapes: Mansion Makeover you still need to claim your profits, which can make the gameplay a little bit annoying if you are playing on a timer.

As in the previous game, the butler is highly entertaining and makes you laugh every time. However, the developers have added a bit more interaction between the butler and some of the objects in the room. For example, if you click on the TV-set, you will get a short video of Austin, the butler, or commercials for Playrix games. Moreover, you have various upgrades for your mansion, which different in appearance as well as in terms of price.

All in all, Gardenscapes: Mansion Makeover doesn’t offer you anything really new, but it has the same charming and amiable atmosphere that the first title had. Nevertheless, it is a stunning and terrific Hidden Object game that, while repetitive, provides with a lot of fun. Happy gardening!
