Yes, the plot is for all the lovers of history. But unfortunately somehow it has nothing to do with the actions you get to perform. All you do is go through locations, look for the hidden items for only god knows what for, seek for the difference between two images and solve puzzles that are very simple. Each chapter contains a mini-game which again, has nothing innovative or interesting to offer. Perhaps one of the “Great secrets” of this game is the total absence of uniqueness and that you completely don’t understand what you do and why. Plus this game doesn’t really reveal the most interesting facts about the artist’s life and all his achievements.

Probably the only good thing about Great Secrets: Da Vinci is the graphics. Colorful, bright and sharp – they please the eye and look very quality. Soundtrack is fine, though music is monotonous, just like the gameplay to be quite honest.

So, what do we have in the end? A promising game that turned into the most boring ever. If you wouldn’t be able to find anything better, then you can download Great Secrets: Da Vinci for free and try it.
