The game continues at the place where the previous part ended, which means you need to be familiar with those events. Here you meet Charon and together you search for the Chronometer that can save our Universe from the manipulation. The events take place in the Farrignton city and only a few scenes set on the train. The storyline itself is not anything new and exciting but still in managed to catch our attention. You’ll meet many characters on your way and they are well developed which is definitely a good thing.

It’s sad to admit but the gameplay in Frozen In Time is quiet weak and has nothing innovative or exciting. But all the aspects are put together very well, hidden object scenes are repetitive, and puzzles along with mini-games unfortunately offer nothing new either. The said chronometer is presented as a special feature in the game – you can use it to launch a hidden object style mini-game which is extremely fun and entertaining.

On its visual side this installment is rather poor and even old school. But the graphics look very impressive and the choice of colors makes the game look mysterious and scary. Soundtrack is probably the only good thing about the whole game, so are the voice overs that fit all characters just perfectly. The game’s bonus chapter is nothing impressive except it takes one hour to go through which is a decent length. Featured content consists of handy and useful Strategy guide, collectibles, achievements and more.

Overall the free downloadable game Haunted Train: Frozen in Time is not the best game ever, not original and rather simple and boring. But if you are a beginner looking for a good game to download for free without registration then consider this one and you won’t regret it.
