HOUSE OF 1000 DOORS: FAMILY SECRETS COLLECTOR'S EDITION Review by DoubleGames
In our lifetime we’ve dealt with tons of stunning and not very much Hidden Object game sagas. We are really hard to please though, we are always open-hearted to every new game product. This time around, we’d like to focus on House of 1000 Doors: Family Secrets developed by Alawar Entertainment.
The first chords of this title immediately tells us that this Hidden Object adventure will be something truly special to try for the holiday season. Unlike most short games with cheesy graphics, House of 1000 Doors: Family Secrets has a good length, challenging puzzles and absolutely superb artwork.
Although the story of a struggling hero and haunted mansion is far from being very original, the game offers a good presentation of ordinary plot. House of 1000 Doors: Family Secrets proves its title, giving us a number of huge chapters where you face a lot of puzzles and mini-games. You go from room to room and from one section to another most of the time, so you have to keep track of where you have gone and where to go next. Fortunately, there is a journal that help you know which rooms are completed. Looking for strange symbols, mysterious portals and other items is the main chores there. Hidden object scenes keep accurate style and has a lot of interactive items. The puzzle are varied though, most of them aren’t very difficult.
All in all, it is a beautifully developed piece of work that can easily amuse you with its wonderful illustrations and mind-bending mysteries. If you are looking for a good Hidden Object installment to kill your free time, House of 1000 Doors: Family Secrets with its bundle of searching scenes will serve this case very well. Enjoy!
