I SPY: TREASURE HUNT Review by DoubleGames
I SPY: Treasure Hunt by Scholastic is a real gift to parents who dreams not only to engage their children for several hours but wish to educate them as well. This title is aimed at kids between the ages of 7-10 activating such essential skills as problem solving, mapping, logical thinking. The game appears to be well-designed and quite clever.
Based on the illustrious I Spy book series, this game takes young players on treasure search. They will collect clue pieces of a map solving hidden object puzzles and follow a pirate’s steps in order to find their legendary treasure. The developers make a shrewd guess at game theme as all children are fond of adventure, pirates and treasure hunting. I SPY: Treasure Hunt consists of 20 detailed scenes that each involves a good portion of challenge in the form of a conundrum. These challenges require careful listening, reading and searching.
Although the riddles and mini-games are logical, the young player will manage to solve all of them. The artwork is fine and notable for its high resolution graphics with simple animation. No matter where a child go in this title, he will appreciate its bright and appealing scenes. Voice acting is in merely an appendage to the game restoring its authentic environment. I SPY: Treasure Hunt is one of those game project that are able not only to entertain but educate your dear baby at the same time. The main advantage of this premise is that the entertaining and educational part are in a good proportion there. Scholastic, thanks a lot!
