LOST LAGOON: THE TRAIL OF DESTINY Review by DoubleGames
Have you ever thought how many hidden object games there are per head? More than one hundred, we suppose. Today the library of this type of games has been increased by one more title – Lost Lagoon: The Trail of Destiny by Intenium. Of course, the developers can shower games upon players but they cannot lull our vigilance.
Lost Lagoon: The Trail of Destin is one of those games that have vivid cover but rotten heart. The artwork is really perfect and will able to throw dust in your eyes at the beginning level. Step by step you will realize that even the polished graphics like this can be rather rough, as some of the hidden items practically require a microscope. The music is fine, although the sound loops are too short and become extremely irritating soon.
The hidden object puzzles present itself an item stew, a usual mishmash of object that has no sense with this or that location. Like most this sort of games today, Lost Lagoon: The Trail of Destiny involves just few clever puzzles and the same number of mini-games. Still, some mini-games contains a bit of challenge, however, there are practically no instructions. You have to clear up what to do on your own as no info is given about what each point is for or what it does. Unfortunately, in recent days there is a tendency to understand game challenge wrongly. While it will be so, we will “enjoy” the games like this one. Moreover, the title is catastrophically short! If you like to beat about the bush, you may have dinner or take a nap but it will not help you as the gameplay can be completed in three hours. You can easy try it and then easy forget it.
