LOVE CHRONICLES: THE SPELL COLLECTOR'S EDITION Review by DoubleGames
How many hidden object games have we already discussed? Tons of them, we suppose. Thanks to the fertile imagination of the developers, there is never a dull moment. This time around, we focuses on new Big Fish Games’ adventure game titled Love Chronicles: The Spell Collector’s Edition. If you are ready to go to a faraway land and wander from building to building trying to revive the cursed kingdom, let’s do it right now. While you are packing your trunk, we’ll review it.
Love Chronicles: The Spell Collector’s Edition is made in the hidden object game style, or more precisely the fragmented hidden object game style. Unlike related titles, there you have not to search for items as such but their fragmented parts. This approach to the gameplay makes it more logical and fits in very nicely with the story. There are also quite a few mini-puzzles scattered throughout the game. Actually, they are all easy to crack, however, they help break the monotony of the hidden object scenes quite well and bring variety into the story.
Noteworthy, the main redeeming feature of Love Chronicles: The Spell Collector’s Edition is its dazed atmosphere. You can be sure that a lot of efforts have been put into developing this premise because the graphics are absolutely gorgeous. Owing to the fact that the illustrations are crisp, you feel the medieval spirit, which the game tries to restore. Contrary to other titles of this genre, this game is remarkable for its high-quality hidden object tasks. All items are clear and well-embedded into the background that they do not look odd there. Still, making remarks about this game, we have to point out that there is no any voice acting. Other than that little trick, the title is a really strong addition to someone’s hidden object collection. Thumbs up for Big Fish Games!
