Maestro: Music of Death falls into the category of good classical hidden object games. Keeping up old traditions the developers give us a very challenging title with glorious artwork – in spite of the game theme being quite gloomy. The gameplay is literally stereotyped if you have tried hidden object adventures before. If you are a veteran of this genre and have already decided that this game is unable to amuse you, don’t think too soon. The game’s scenes are so wonderful and vivid that you will never mind all those numerous backtracking around to places you have already explored. The music background is pleasant all the time, emphasizing the atmosphere perfectly without becoming too haunting or irritating as some similar titles usually sins.

The puzzle portion of Maestro: Music of Death is solid, though some puzzles may bewilder you at times. The reason of most embarrassing situations in this game hides in vague instructions or ambiguous hints. However, this fact isn’t frustrating there at all. While mini-games are mainly of a usual style, this installment can really boast an interesting bunch of music-based puzzles. If you are fond of music, there you have a chance to show off your skills. Thanks to well-presented hidden object scenes, items are always clear but it doesn’t mean that they all lie on the surface. Hidden object puzzles are still pleasant to solve. The length of play is decent, which provides you with 3 or 4 thrilling hours.

All in all, Maestro: Music of Death is a great-looking hidden object title that deserves its place in the sun.
