In this the scene of this Hidden Object puzzle adventure game sets in 1787, where you are to take the role of Josepha Duschek, a famous opera singer. Get ready to travel to France and investigate a strange murder. Although the historical theme is obvious there, the game doesn’t claim to be an authentic one. But for the world-famous historical characters like Marie Antoinette, Mozart, Benjamin Franklin and Jeanne of Valois the game would be just an ordinary Hidden Object title.

Unfortunately, illustrious names and surnames doesn’t serve Marie Antoinette and the Disciples of Loki in a proper way. The story about a murder is vague and rather plain, however it isn’t overloaded with huge paragraphs to read.

The puzzle part of Marie Antoinette and the Disciples of Loki is also not the best one. The items are too clear so you won’t have any problems with its searching. Moreover, the hint button recharges quickly, giving you no chance to feel nervous a little bit.

Honestly, the navigating system is awkward, in particular exiting the scenes as some items are very small and it is easy to miss them but the scenes themselves are well-drawn.

The music background is not bad, but if you are not a fan of classical tunes you’d better to turn it off as it plays all game long. The graphics are cartoonish though, they are always vivid and even beautiful.

Overall, Marie Antoinette and the Disciples of Loki offers you an ordinary gameplay with ordinary story. If you have no other cares this or that weekend, give it a try.
