MATCHMAKER: JOINING HEARTS Review by DoubleGames
It’s time to take rest after sets of gloomy storylines and play new hidden object game Matchmaker: Joining Hearts by Sugar Games. Take a role of matchmaker and help two lovers gain happiness.
If you are a fan of Murder She Wrote game, you will appreciate this title, too. Surely, there are no murders, just matchmaking. The game is sweet, with little to offer some interesting characters and essentially no plot. The only challenge for you is seeing the tiny objects in some scenes. Each hidden object scene has about 20 items to find, mostly compatible with the story.
Matchmaker: Joining Hearts is a no-stress game, where you are allowed to choose the option of timed or not. The artwork is accurate but still there are a few tiny items too hard to make out. To my mind, the most awkward part of the game is the scenes where you are to replace items. Some objects are too small so you will need time and patience to find it out and only then replace.
However, the hint system is cool and notable for its generosity. Just hover in cupid and he points toward the object or fires an arrow to show it exactly if you click. All hints are free, recharging in 30 seconds.
Perhaps, music is only one tender point of Matchmaker: Joining Hearts. Despite it is light, not irritating, but plain and absolutely uninteresting. By and large this new point-and-click title has few pretensions and good production values. If hidden object games are your lovely cup of tea, this game can delight you for sure. Not a bad game to spend a lazy hour. Enjoy!
