MIRIEL'S ENCHANTED MYSTERY Review by DoubleGames
Miriel’s Enchanted Mystery is the second game in the Miriel series and presents us a quite good mix of time management and hidden object gameplay. Mysth People company was not going to shock players, it just invented a flexible story with challenging tasks.
The sequel offers you to make a fascinating travel around the world conjuring up new goodies, opening shops and using the magic to sell tasty goods. You start by serving customers and cooking up delicious recipes for them. Unlike the first part of the series featured short match-3 sections, the new installment has you solving a number of hidden object scenes in order to get upgrades for your shop. The quicker you find and assemble the items, the more bonus gold you will earn.
One very annoying defect of the game is that it’s impossible to replay levels to reach the expert goal. Thus, the most ambitious gamers can be frustrated by this fact. Another shortcoming is its control, which can get very irritating at times. So the symbols of the ingredients at the board are rather small, and to click on the wrong ingredient will happen to you rather often. Otherwise, the game is very forgiving when it comes to mistakes.
Nevertheless, Miriel’s Enchanted Mystery is probably one of the few games that are actually worth replaying. Cool graphics, engaging gameplay and a really exciting storyline make the game praiseworthy. Why not to make up your own impartial opinion, after all?
