Just fancy! You have just found your dream house. But it happens to be haunted! So you cannot help but clear the house from the supernatural powers. To rid your house of ghosts, you have to explore different haunted locations, collecting not only hidden objects, but you also need to catch any ghosts hiding there. Actually, the developers didn’t try hard to create original phantom trap. So you will discover those ghosts by the means of a common monocle.
As for the artwork Virtual Prophecy was more creative, making all scenes colorful and polished. Do not let cartoonish illustrations pull your leg! Most of hidden object scenes in Mishap: An Accidental Haunting can be quite challenging because the items are well concealed. Click only on the right objects as random clicks are punished by the master spirit. To tell you the truth, you won’t like what happens if you do… Of course, you are provided with rechargeable hints, but getting a new one is not as easy as it may seem. To refill your hint tool you should do one or another task. So think twice about when you call for help. Unlike inventory puzzles mini-games are nothing to do. They are quite simple and get rather repetitious, but you are able to skip them all.
Mishap: An Accidental Haunting would be a fine game if the instructions were clearer as they should be. Despite minor complaints, this title is praiseworthy, which can amuse you for several hours. Have fun!
