Let us present another hidden object game under a vivid title Mystery Agency: A Vampire’s Kiss. This vampire installment has you playing as a young lady, who is seeking her missing friend, traveling around the dark hold and falling into different troubles. An obvious ordinary game, isn’t it? But we know, at least we knew up to this game, that banality is not a sin at all. There are plenty of cliched games, which are really nice due to their high-quality graphics and settings.  .. Pretty assured by this tendency we were open-hearted to Mystery Agency: A Vampire’s Kiss from dtp entertainment AG. Firstly, because this was a vampire game, which could indicate at least a spooky storyline. Secondly, classical hidden object games use time-proved tricks, puzzles and mini-games which usually are liked by most players. But all our hopes were completely deceived. Honestly, this game turned out to be not a classical one but rather archaic and within few minutes we found ourselves almost yawning. This installment had a very thin story and practically no atmosphere at all. The sounds we were hearing, supposed to create the authentic environment, seemed too haunting and got on our nerves fast. So we had to mute this game immediately, which made the gameplay even more annoying.

The hidden object scenes were clear, though some scenes were still blurry by design. To add on difficulty? What a cheap trick to add some challenge! Usually the items were relatively easy to find, while other were so tiny putting your nose right up against the screen. When you used the hint button, you were penalized. The mini-games were as interesting as the gameplay itself. Sorry for our irony, we meant they were as plain and boring as the whole game Mystery Agency: A Vampire’s Kiss.

Unfortunately, there is nothing to commend or enjoy. Who will like these irritating dialogues and small shapeless items that clicking at hazard is the only way to figure out?
