Nancy Drew: The Phantom of Venice by Her Interactive company is an eighteenth point-and-click adventure devoted to famous teenage detective, Nancy Drew. Your mission in this game is to help Nancy trace and arrest an elusive art thief known as the Phantom, and to complete it you will have to solve a great number of challenging puzzles.
We want to warn you in advance that puzzles are really tough in this game. One of them, for example, requires player to research and learn how to send coded messages using some kind of algebraic notation used in chess. So if you dream of relaxing gameplay, you should play some other game. This one will make you think hard to complete any task.
Another strong side of Nancy Drew: The Phantom of Venice is its graphics. The story takes place in Venice and the developers have made all the locations of the game with almost photo-realism. 3D animation of the characters is also brilliant. You can actually see their emotions and articulation.
Of course, nothing is perfect, and once in a wile you will get to solve some stupid puzzle, but they don’t spoil the general picture.
