Otherworld: Spring of Shadows

BoomZap is one of those developers who remember that the prime object of casual games – is entertainment. Otherworld: Spring of Shadows is their latest game product, which shows that Hidden Object genre is still alive.

It all started when the main heroine moved into an old mansion, hoping to enjoy her solitude and take new stock in your life. But she haven’t managed to enjoy the idyllic, natural surroundings of the English countryside for a long time. She finds out that she isn’t alone in her new house but some evil spirits inhabit it too.

The main advantage of Otherworld: Spring of Shadows is the way it presents the dark and light worlds. Visually, the game is wonderful due to its incredible choice of colors, as wells as its depictions of the clue scenes. The natural world especially bursts with vivid colors and perfect animations. Being rather spooky in tone, the gloomy scenes are just as great and particularly thrilling. The strong voice-overs, a good soundtrack that reminds horror films add much on a creepy atmosphere.

Surely, nice illustrations aren’t enough for a good Hidden Object game; the gameplay must be also challenging and fun. Otherworld: Spring of Shadows is praiseworthy all around, not only for its art, but for its gameplay. All hidden object scenes are skillfully blends into the intriguing story and make the play more interesting. The developers offer creative, but sometimes even absolute new approach to puzzles, so the game stands out from many other Hidden Object titles.
