As for the plot itself, the story is too short and uninteresting to get hooked with a game. Another drawback is the lack of adventure gameplay and hard puzzles. So, the unoriginal storyline and easy riddles and conundrums don’t stop the gameplay from being highly unintuitive. Moreover, the hint system offers no real guidance. If you like Hidden Object games and the games where you search for specific items, you will probably like this one. But if you are a fan of Hidden Object games with emphasis on adventure component or complex puzzles, you will likely be disappointed.

However, the first thing to be noticed in the game is excellent graphics and great soundtrack. Paranormal Crime Investigations: Brotherhood of the Crescent Snake is sharp, bright and colorful, but it still can’t be compared to the fantastical and entirely imaginary landscapes found in some games. Besides, the Hidden Object scenes are clear, relevant, but still are not too easy as it seems, and moreover, there is a new element during the game where you have to solve puzzles. Unfortunately, its strength ends there, falling short in both playability and plot. Setting aside the 2D personalities of the characters, this game is too linear. Furthermore, playing endless mini-games gets boring very fast.

To sum up, Paranormal Crime Investigations: Brotherhood of the Crescent Snake has both advantages and disadvantages. It attracts by its graphics and quality, but it should be said that everything else about it is not up to the mark.
