Queen's Tales: Sins of the Past

First of all the storyline is kinda boring and far from being unique. You play as a princess that has to deal with the Elvin King that captured your father. To save your father you must marry the Elvin King… That’s totally unacceptable so you start the journey to uncover the old secrets that began all this craziness. Apart from the tedious plot, the presentation left us speechless. The quality of graphics is impressive, typical for ERS-Games, images are clear, full of color and light. Artwork is very beautiful, locations are just stunning and we’re sure we haven’t seen anything this pretty before.  Background music and sound effects are very well done, voice overs are wonderful and remarkable.

Such pleasant representation easily gets lost in the simple gameplay and boring tasks that require no brainwork at all. Hidden object scenes are repetitive, meanwhile puzzles are much better, they are tricky and creative. A few really nice additions to the gameplay are Phoenix and Shirking Potion, interactive map and difficulty settings.

All in all Queen’s Tales: Sins of the Past definitely not the best pc/mac game ever. But if you are a fan of both the developers and the genre, you could give it a try and download for free without registration. We hope you’ll have fun despite all the disadvantages and weak spots.
