REVENGE OF THE SPIRIT: RITE OF RESURRECTION Review by DoubleGames
When we look at the title of the new game Revenge of the Spirit: Rite of Resurrection, we immediately suppose that this is another Hidden Object installment with gloomy storyline and haunted atmosphere. And we are absolutely right!
If creepy Hidden Objects titles are your cup of tea, Revenge of the Spirit: Rite of Resurrection from FlyWheel Games can easily win your heart. This time around, you must cast light on a strange death of the illustrious writer Adora Graves and save the city from evil spirit who has been taunting the townsfolk for years! As you can see we’ve managed to pack the whole plot just in one sentence. However, this story is one of those that put you in the game fuss without too much explanation but the more you play the clearer (and the spookier) things become. The inductive way of storytelling keeps the intrigue till the, inspiring you to play more and more.
As for the challenging aspect, Revenge of the Spirit: Rite of Resurrection is ready to provide players with quite clever puzzles and unique mini-games. Although hidden object scenes are a mix of some very easy items, some not so much, they are still interesting to explore. There are a lot of interactive scenes that add much fun on gameplay.
Visually, Revenge of the Spirit: Rite of Resurrection is clear enough, but the over all game is rather dark. The music just plays in the background and not obtrusive at all, meaning not constantly repetitive which often can get on your last nerve. The voice-acting is not the best, but at least this game has this.
Overall, this game has a good length that will surely grasp your attention. You must add this installment to you Hidden Object game box.
