Reveries: Soul Collector

So, first of all, don’t expect this review to be positive, we were impressed but not in a good way. The storyline in this free game for pc is messy as hell, like, where do some of the ideas even come from? First you, as a main character, learn that the King is in love with you, then you get to fight and save him from the mad Evil Wing, and then when you rescue him, the madman turns the King into the ugly tree… Honestly, we never had to deal with anything more hilarious and such nonsense. Plus there are no explanations about what’s going on, how and what for.

The next thing that the developers failed was the graphics. Dark images, dull and not colorful at all and even like this they were the highlight of the whole game. Plus there’s a lot of fantasy elements that make the game look pretty and charming sometimes. Music is fine.. it matches the mood and the atmosphere of this game, but you better turn it off because the voice-overs are annoying and unbearable. At last, the gameplay, doesn’t bring anything new and refreshing to the genre either. There are a lot of puzzles that all are classic, easy and old, but it’s not a bad thing; plus there’s an option to switch to the jigsaw mode.

We had good news for you: this game is short. Really, it took us around 3 hours to finish it just to see how ridiculous the ending was. To be honest, it’s still hard to believe this game was made by ERS-G. We don’t recommend you download Reveries: Soul Collector on computer, you will regret it.
