Rite of Passage: The Lost Tides Collector's Edition

This is the third installment in the Rite Of Passage series, it started with a tragic opening and was quiet exciting and promising. Many years ago your parents disappeared and today at the anniversary of their disappearance their ship suddenly comes back. You get to find out what happened to your family and reveal the truth. Unfortunately the rest of the game wasn’t that exciting and we kind of lost our interest very quickly. But anyway game is worth playing. Characters here are unique and memorable, every single one of them has their special role.

Lost Tides’ gameplay is not the best work from developers but has some innovative elements. The rest is just an ordinary hidden object game with the same old tasks. Fortunately we can’t say the same about hidden object scenes. They are very impressive, come in different formats and some of them are something we haven’t seen before. Addictive gamers will surely appreciate unexpected twists, decent level of challenge and unique puzzles.

On the visual side Lost Tides’ is stunning. The locations are gorgeous, colorful and bright. Soundtrack is epic, especially that orchestral music which literally blew us away. Mermaid’ song was one of the most pleasant thing in the whole game.

This game could have been longer, even with a bonus chapter it takes only five hours to finish. But it’s not a disadvantage, if you are not a hardcore gamer Lost Tides’ will obviously take you more time. So, if the story was developed better we would give this game the highest rate. But anyway we are grateful and recommend this top game to everyone.
