ROMANCING THE SEVEN WONDERS: GREAT PYRAMID Review by DoubleGames
Today the Egyptian theme is really worn-out, but unfortunately this fact worries developers very little, so they continue stuff us with monotones games. Romancing the Seven Wonders: Great Pyramid is just another title from GameShastra Solutions running on the lost treasure in Egypt.
The first issue that you point out is the game’s graphics. On the whole this hidden object title has lots of gorgeous scenes but the developers give them without items to find. They decided to embed hidden object puzzles into fuzzy and dark screens. Moreover, the objects tend to be too small and entirely frustrating to find since some of them do not even look like what they are really look like. The graphics, though colorful, are a little murky, adding to the aggravation of trying to find the objects.
In Romancing the Seven Wonders: Great Pyramid the penalty for random clicks could easily bankrupt you because each three missclicks take away 10 points. You are able to click on a microscopical correct item and be punished because you do not click on the right pixel. Scene by scene you’re asked to find smaller and smaller things, which are practically impossible to find without using hints. As for the other tasks, they are as trite as the storyline itself. Probably, only one mini-game can make you consider for a moment but the other puzzles and riddles take less than three minutes to think over.
Being full of sore points like shabby plot, boring tasks and obscure hidden object scenes, Romancing the Seven Wonders: Great Pyramid hardly ever take the worth place in one’s hidden object library.
