The Romopolis produced by Lonely Troops company is a strategy game with the elements of time management genre.  Your task is to create an ideal Roman city with lots of houses and keep your habitants glad by providing all the services they need.

There are two play modes: you can work your way to the top in the comprehensive 24 level campaign or you can create and play your own custom scenarios. Well, the only difference is an opportunity to set the goals and deadlines as you wish.

The gameplay is rather easy and accessible. But the pacing is a bit unbalanced and boring because of its repetitiveness. The graphics and music can’t be called outstanding indeed.

We like the variety of buildings and goals which should be fulfilled to have a progress. And of course, it demands a good strategic thinking from you and to manage all of the tasks.

Frankly to say, this game is frustrating and has nothing new to a standard city builder, but the only advantage The Romopolis gives is a chance to build Rome in a day!
