Samantha Swift and the Golden Touch is a nice HOG produced by Mumbo Jumbo. Playing as an archeologist Samantha you should find the Golden Touch, an artifact that has come to wrong hands.
Tons of items are waiting for you. Don’t miss the tools which are necessary to come through the levels. The puzzles which this HOG offers become more difficult and less obvious as you progress. The mini-games are well-integrated and belong to different types from card games to more puzzles to be solved. The mini-games are marked by a green arrow with a magnifying glass and hidden in the HO boards. Some of them are really nice and fresh.
The visuals are great indeed: ancient backgrounds, vivid scenes which sometimes seem a bit cartoonish. Besides, we liked such features as an excellent hint system, no time limit, plenty of game time and captivating game plot.
In general Samantha Swift and the Golden Touch is an estimable HOG, just one wish to the developers: it’s not a good idea to make the player searching for a “statuette” in a room filled to the gills with statues, but we’ve done it!
