Today everyone has heard of the curious incidents of vanish in the Bermuda triangle, but no less strange when things suddenly appear with no explanation. In Secret Mission: The Forgotten Island, a new hidden object game from Telltale, you are to investigate a bizarre appearance of a mysterious island in the Bermuda Triangle.
Secret Mission: The Forgotten Island makes you visit sets of delightful locations, providing you with a helpful map to jump from one episode to another. Actually, there is nothing difficult in this point-and-click adventure as items are clear and quite observable, but the hint system is generous. Furthermore, the navigation let you choose the scene you would like to visit without any form of humdrum backtracking. As for the mini-games, they are challenging, and involve lots of inventory tasks.
Honestly, it doesn’t matter whether you choose Easy or Hard mode you are able to complete Secret Mission: The Forgotten Island without great problems. Unfortunately, for hidden object games this title is a bit too easy, especially inventory puzzles. If the developers put just a little bit more challenge and extended playtime it would be the best game of this year. Aside some shortcomings, it is a good game with bright and colorful graphics and compelling storyline. If you are searching for a relaxing adventure, you have just found it. Have fun!
