The first feature this review is concerned with is the storyline, that is, the plot of the game. The storyline is quite original and it goes like this: You are taking the role of a private detective living in Paris, who is contacted by a person called Veronica who needs you to save her wedding. And although this doesn’t seem like a task that should worry you, it only a few moments later that you realize there’s a great danger for Veronica - an ancient werewolf Mephistus has shown himself and promised to complete the revenge against Veronica and her family by killing them all. All that will happen if you don’t stop it! Secondly, we will review the gameplay. The gameplay in Shadow Wolf Mysteries: Cursed Wedding is very good, and what is more, balanced between hidden object scenes and puzzles and mini-games. For starters, you decide which difficulty mode you will choose: casual, advanced or hard. After that, you are ready to go and to experience many hidden object scenes and puzzles. Hidden Object scenes are very good, there are a lot of objects, but they are not overlapping. The good things is that you won’t be playing several hidden object scenes in a row, you will most likely have a puzzle between them, which makes it more interesting. Puzzles and mini-games are various, and although there is no unifying theme, they are all interesting and fun: from swappers to dress-ups and jigsaws! Some of them are really original! You can get different types of help: from the in-game guide, or hint system, to the journal.

The next feature in Shadow Wolf Mysteries: Cursed Wedding are the graphics and the music. What can be said other than that both are great! The graphics are clear, smooth, and colorful, it is a real eye candy. The character models are bubbly and nicely drawn, they have excellent voice, though no voiceovers. The music is haunting, and the sound effects are not annoying, and all this makes your experience in the game, which lasts for about 5 or more hours, actually look like just an hour or two!

All in all, Shadow Wolf Mysteries: Cursed Wedding is a great single player Hidden Object/ Puzzle/ Adventure game which comes from well-know ERS G-Studio and it doesn’t disappoint us! All important features that make a good game are there: the interesting and long-lasting gameplay, the immersive storyline, great graphics and the music that perfectly fits the atmosphere.
