Shaolin Mystery: Revenge of the Terracotta Warriors, the second installment in the series,  revolves around revenge and great Shaolin’s secrets. The other words, you face a wildly twisting plot that grab your attention till the end.

According to the genre, the game populated with a good deal of puzzles and mini-games which are mostly good and clear. The hidden object scenes are nice to explore and never frustrated. The mini-games are also not obtrusive but sometimes too explicit. Anyway, there is a skip button that let you avoid some uninteresting tasks. You’re never stuck with hidden items or do not know what to do, or left wandering around aimlessly. The hints reloads rather fast but you can easily crack any puzzle without them.

Graphically, Shaolin Mystery: Revenge of the Terracotta Warriors looks a bit fuzzy but the common view of its illustrations is still charming. The spooky music background perfectly conveys the tense of situations.

Unfortunately, there is no voice-over but you must go through the introduction story as this part of the game is unskippable. The introduction is not bad but sounds rather annoying, and might even prejudice the player against the rest of the game.

In short, this game is a bit different than what we have been seeing. Still, if you don’t like a lot of action, this will be a nice addition to your Hidden Object list.
