The title is remarkable for its beautiful locations, which must be investigated by you in a proper way. Honestly, hidden objects are quite obvious; you will hardly have some problems to find them. Still the title is rather challenging and may bewilder more than one hidden object pro. Luckily, you have plenty of helpful hints from your cell phone and in each level. But unlike most other games, hints are more than simple tools; you should try hard to get them. It is nice that Sunset Studio: Love on the High Seas has a replay value as the items are always placed at haphazard.

Actually there are no real puzzles or riddles, just extra fast search games. After a few levels you are able to unlock a fast-paced mini-game that gives you a few seconds to find a single item in a succession of scenes. Finding items gives you a bit more time, but the challenge increases the longer you play. It is a fine twist on the hidden object mechanic and is practically worth the price of admission all by itself.

Repetition is the main sore point of Sunset Studio: Love on the High Seas. So you will revisit one and the same locations many times as you play through the game. The music is also reused too much and can become annoying during play sessions. The story-telling between chapters are rather entertaining, but awfully hackneyed and slow-moving. Why not make them more dynamic? But we cannot cry for the moon. We have to play what we have. Thankfully, today we have a wide choice of hidden object games.
