THE HISTORY CHANNEL LOST WORLDS REVIEW BY DOUBLEGAMES

The History Channel: Lost Worlds is an educational puzzle game which was produced by Canopy Games. There is no actual story in the game. Instead it has three chapters devoted to three different areas: Latin America, Italy and Egypt. So you can discover some interesting information about those places while enjoying addictive gameplay... Read more

The gameplay consists of four different kinds of puzzles: hidden object, spot the difference, jigsaw puzzles and trivia (where players will read a question related to the part of the world you’re at select from 1 of 4 multiple choice answers). All this variety makes the game very entertaining, cause you never know what kind of puzzle is waiting for you next.

Production values of The History Channel: Lost Worlds are relatively good. The game features beautiful graphics and pleasant music that underlines the atmosphere of each area of the game. It takes about ten hours to complete the game for an experienced player, so the length is also quite satisfying.

The only disappointment is that the game offers nothing new to the genres it represents. All the puzzles within a certain genre are pretty monotonous and boring, but the thing is that they are all mixed and you just don’t have enough time to get bored. Don’t miss this challenging game by any chanse!
