THE JOY OF FARMING Review by DoubleGames
Have you ever planted pumpkins, carrots and other vegetables? The newbies you will have this chance if they try The Joy of Farming, a new time management game from Realore. But those who have already dealt with farm games, will scrupulously compare the new title with similar premises.
After outstanding Farm Frenzy series we are hard to please with any farm title. Like the majority of farm time management games, The Joy of Farming starts out with a few buildings and fields and slowly offers you more and more upgrades to make your Farm as prosperous as possible. But on closer examination it provides that the gameplay still offers a set of interesting features and twists. There are trophies, about a dozen of buildings and twenty funny characters.
Of course planting is not the only aim of The Joy of Farming’s gameplay. Providing customers with fresh products is another prime object there. What fairly makes the game different from sibling installments is artwork. The graphics are perfectly rendered in a vivid cartoon style, and animated effects save this farm game from humdrumness of scenes. With more than 65 levels, this farm experience could become tedious very soon. Fortunately, the developers knows this fact very well that is why they pay a lot of attention to the environment making it various and profound.
However, they didn’t managed to make the new title engrossing like the very Farm Frenzy. Oh, yes, we will always do this matching! It seems this is a fate of all new farm games. Well, it is hard to compete with the pioneers of farm genre and the other developers should not try to beat them but they can launch out decent premises like Realore.
