The Treasures of Mystery Island: The Gates of Fate

As early as in 2008 Five-BN Studio is published the game The Treasures of Mystery Island: The Gates of Fate where the main hero, Alex, tries to get out from an island, on his way he finds a treasure, reveals a terrible secret and, in addition, saves the world from inevitable death. The classical quest became so popular that developers decided to release continuation of the series — the game The Treasures of Mystery Island: The Gates of Fate.

Already familiar heroes, Liza and Alex, again turn out on the island. This time mysterious artefact transfers them in the past, but with the distinction in ten years. Now our heroes have to act alone, each one in his own time. To return in the future, they should find four plates hidden somewhere on the island and to activate The Gates of Fate.

The plot is rather intriguing, but we interested if it is really interesting to play The Treasures of Mystery Island: The Gates of Fate, how creators promise us.

We should admit that the game is high level quality. Unlike many hidden object adventures, in The Treasures of Mystery Island: The Gates of Fate you don’t have to search unnecessary objects. You will have to look for object parts, then gather it and then conside how you can use this in one or another situation. Locations and items are well-made, there are no penalties for random cliques, so item search shouldn’t cause any difficulties, besides it is always possible to use a hint.

Graphics in this game is quite nice. Locations will delight your eye not only by bright and juicy colours, but also by numerous animated small-size details, such, as flying insects shivering light, strewing sand from the roof, shaking trees’ leaves, shining sparkles in a magic portal. 

The only defect is just boring music.

The game has everything to delight fans of this genre - fantastic plot, favorite characters, wonderful graphics and plenty of smart puzzles. So, all people who are fond of quest games should try this one!
