TIGER EYE: CURSE OF THE RIDDLE BOX Review by DoubleGames
It is hard to confess but Tiger Eye: Curse of the Riddle Box is the best hidden object game we have ever tried in a long time. Instead of cheesiness romantic story PassionFruit Games presents us a well written storyline with entertaining novel dialogue.
Very few titles of this genre can be proud of their plot, rather often it is a sore point of most games. This time around, we deals with the entertaining love story with element of magic, myth and of course jeopardy. We believe that Tiger Eye: Curse of the Riddle Box will easily win the audience of point-and-clicking women. The “mysterious romance” game provides with everything you would like to experience: a fun, wit and breathtaking adventure. If you are not fond of cut-scenes very much you are able to skip it, though they are really fine. Thanks to realistic pleasant voices, the developers managed to avoid usual monotonous of dialogues.
As for Tiger Eye: Curse of the Riddle Box’s graphics they are also terrific, especially it was a nice surprise to see the facial expressions of the characters conveying true emotions. If you get accustomed to turn off the music, this time you should leave it on to enjoy its diversity. The music background is perfectly related to each scene, highlighting the drama, fun, and thrilling parts of the game. The hidden object puzzles is something incredible, though few of them can be difficult as some items are small or well-hidden into the scene, they will be never frustrating. We were really excited by the fact that each next mini-game was more unique than the previous one. The words like these “How annoying it is!” will be out of your mind. Honestly, we can’t bring ourselves to apply harsh epithets to this game. Perhaps its low replayability is the one shortcoming there because the objects are always in the same place each time. However, we cannot help but say, “WOW!”
